Soil Compaction Therapy

What is soil compaction? Soil compaction problems arise when high traffic of heavy objects is present on top of the soil surrounding a tree. This often occurs in construction zones when heavy machinery is repeatedly driven over the soil that contains the lifeblood of the tree. In order to grow and thrive, trees need certain elements including air, water, and nutrients from the soil. When the soil is compacted, these elements do not flow freely to the roots through the soil and creates a severely harmful environment for the tree.

To counteract these soil compaction problems, our professionals will come to your property and use the latest equipment to do the job right. We inject the soil with hundreds of pounds of compressed air, creating fissures that allow it to breathe and transfer nutrients to the roots of the tree. After the soil is fractured, a compound of diatomaceous earth is injected to prevent future problems. The end result of the therapy is the proper condition of the soil for maximum and efficient tree nourishment.
