Healthy trees require a growing medium (soil), Sixteen essential elements (including oxygen), water, organic matter, and soil organisms. In a natural forest setting, nutrients are continually recycled. However, in our urban and suburban settings this cycle is interrupted, creating a need for nutrient replenishment in many cases.
Tree fertilizers (essential mineral elements) may come from a wide variety of sources. For example, Nitrogen exists in a variety of forms, both organic and chemical. Organic sources of Nitrogen can include anything from grass clippings and leaves to cow manure. The products used by our arborists are specially formulated for slow release into the soil and are made specifically for the tree care industry.
Biostimulants and living fungal spore inoculates are also added to the formula. Biostimulants increase beneficial microbial life in the soil while the Mycorrizhae fungus spores interface the tree roots with the surrounding soil mass.
We use only the highest quality products available to arborists for the best results.
